The FSA is a non-ministerial department of over 1300 people, with a big vision – to drive change in the food system so that it delivers “food we can trust”. Our primary goal is to continue to protect public health and consumers’ wider interest in food. As we have now exited the EU the FSA faces a significant period of change and activity.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the delivery assurance team for a data analyst who will work with colleagues to develop our data reporting capability. This role will focus on building our capability to analyse data, to produce meaningful facts and trends that can be presented to senior management as part of balanced scorecards and dashboards.
The Data Analyst role, within the Delivery Assurance team, will lead on the design and creation of an enhanced data reporting framework for the Operations directorate. This framework will capture performance, compliance and delivery efficiencies for Executives and senior managers from across the 4 divisions:
• Field Operations
• Operational Assurance & Transformation
• Incidents and Resilience Unit
• National Food Crime Unit

If successful at shortlisting stage, you will be invited to the final selection stage consisting of an experience/technical/behaviours-based interview and seen presentation.
