About the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Civilian Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dale Barracks, Chester.
The successful candidate will assist their Senior Dental Officer with clinical and administrative support in the provision of dental treatment for all patients, for whom they are responsible in accordance with Defence Primary Health Care (Dental) Standard Operating Procedure.
The post holder will be expected to provide dental hygiene treatment, oral health instruction and education, and any other appropriate clinical procedure in support of the DPHC (Dental) Oral Health Strategy, working towards improving and maintaining the dental health of entitled personnel.
There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.
Please be aware that if you are found successful you will be asked to provide evidence of your immunity to Hepatitis B.
