Job description

Manage/supervise a team responsible for the acquisition and development of tactical and strategic intelligence and/or prevention initiatives focused on serious and organised crime affecting the UK.

Provide operational support, advice and guidance to police throughout the UK into the investigation of serious crime.

Ensure national/local strategy, policy, legislative frameworks and operational priorities are developed and promoted amongst NPCC, Law Enforcement partners and government departments (as appropriate).

If not already completed the successful candidate will need to undertake the following training:
- Induction training
- Diversity training
- Health & Safety training
- First Aid training
- Intelligence Training
- Management Training
- Officer Safety Training (desirable)
- Powers Training (desirable)

Desirable at Entry:
- Trained in Debriefing
- CPIA/RIPA trained
- PIP2
