Salary: the salary for this position is £24,964. Where existing Civil Servants apply on transfer to the NCA at the equivalent grade, pay principles on Civil Service transfers will apply.
The Personal Assistant (PA) to to the Director is a critica part of the Director Investigations support team.
Working alongside the Staff Officer the PA ensures that the Director's diary is effectively and efficiently managed, including any logistical requirements such as travel and hotels. The role is dynamic and subject to change so the PA must be able to balance demands in a changing environment.
The PA will also ensure that any correspondence is managed in an efficient, effective and timely manner to the highest standard and in compliance with corporate standards, either by drafting responses or ensuring draft responses are prepared by the relevant business area. The PA will take minutes of meetings when necessary.
Other responsibilities will include the management and maintenance of electronic and paper filing and bring forward systems and other general activities to ensure the private office runs effectively and efficiently.
The role requires a capacity to deal with a varied workload and tight deadlines. The role will require additional hours and travel away from the office.
