The NCA is an organisation which leads the UK’s fight to cut serious and organised crime. This includes class A drugs, child exploitation, people smuggling and human trafficking, major gun crime, fraud, cyber crime, money laundering and the corruption that organised criminals use to facilitate these crimes.
We work to imprison serious criminals, and use many other tactics to disrupt crime and keep people safe. In particular, we want to ensure crime doesn’t pay and that it’s harder to commit. We also draw on innovative new approaches to prevent crimes from happening in the first place.

Salary: The salary band for this position is £24,964 to £30,626. Where existing Civil Servants apply on transfer to the NCA at the equivalent grade, pay principles on Civil Service transfers will apply. All other salary offers will be made within the advertised band.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical skills within the dynamic world of lawful intercept engineering. The post holders will assist in the 1st and 2nd line support of technical systems to a professional standard and to meet user requirements. Provide assistance in maintaining and upgrading technical systems in line with technical projects and aid the support of technical networks and infrastructure. Successful candidates may be required to form part of an on call rota.

- In depth knowledge of IT hardware, operating systems and software
- Information technology skills in a wide variety of packages and databases
- Experience in an IT related field
Desirable at Entry:
- Good understanding of ITIL
