The NCA is an organisation which leads the UK’s fight to cut serious and organised crime. This includes class A drugs, child exploitation, people smuggling and human trafficking, major gun crime, fraud, cyber crime, money laundering and the corruption that organised criminals use to facilitate these crimes.

Salary: The salary for this position is £24,964. Where existing Civil Servants apply on transfer to the NCA at the equivalent grade, pay principles on Civil Service transfers will apply.
The NCA Control Centre provides critical support to NCA departments and partner agencies, whilst providing situational awareness to Directors and Gold Commanders during declared major incidents. The G5 role is diverse and will involve dealing with matters relating to Anti-Kidnap & Extortion, Threats to Life, Child Sexual Exploitation (including time critical child protection), Intelligence & Investigative support, and providing specialist support to many other departments. This is a dynamic and challenging environment and G5 Officers will be expected to contribute towards the transformation of Control Centre functions.
There is a requirement to work a 24/7 shift pattern on a 5 week rolling rota, for which you will be paid 12.5% pensionable shift allowance and an additional 2.5% non-pensionable pay.
