Job description

The NCA is an organisation which leads the UK’s fight to cut serious and organised crime. This includes class A drugs, child exploitation, people smuggling and human trafficking, major gun crime, fraud, cyber crime, money laundering and the corruption that organised criminals use to facilitate these crimes.

Salary: £41,607.  Where existing Civil Servants apply on transfer to the NCA at the equivalent grade, pay principles on Civil Service transfers will apply. All other salary offers will be made within the advertised band.

Role summary:

The Performance Team sits within Live Services in Tech Command. The Service Supplier Management function is part of a team of managers who provide subject matter expertise in specific areas e.g. Network management. The purpose of the role is to build a holistic view of all the Services provide by key suppliers associated with the Service, ensuring the right service is being delivered and compliant to the contract. The role requires close engagement with other teams e.g. Service Delivery, Commercial, for input into the Supplier Boards measuring the performance, customer feedback, contractual obligations are met and any service improvement changes as necessary.

This role is diverse and requires strong Stakeholder management and Communication skills as you are the Single Interface for Customers and the Intelligent Customer for Suppliers.

Duties will include:

Performance Management: Supplier Management

- Understand the Suppliers obligations and deliverables for the Service area.
- Build a relationship with the relevant Service owner in the Supplier.
- Drive improvements with the Suppliers
- Chair the Monthly Supplier Management Board

Performance Management: Managing Interfaces

- Build contacts across Suppliers, the Business (customers) and our Partner organizations who are dependent on this Service, where applicable.
- Maintain a Stakeholder Management plan.
- Build interfaces with Commercial, Finance and Crown Commercial Services for specific supplier(s) in the tower

Delivery Management: Governance

- Attend all relevant Boards and meetings representing Live Service: Performance Team
- Review Reports and other relevant MI
- Provide a Supplier Dashboard to the G1- Head of Performance and DD for Live Services
